Let's Get Married!

I'm so glad you're considering me to be a part of the best day of your life! Here's a rundown of what we're looking at.

Packages

I make the pricing simple. I won't withhold anything in a more expensive tier. You're going to get high resolution, watermark-free pictures, and lots of them. The only thing I ask is that you tag me in any social media posts you share!

Love Is The Greatest Adventure

I charge $200 per hour. That includes the time it takes shooting, travel & parking, and the cost of editing the photos. I take great care in selecting the best pictures and editing them to perfection. This can take up to six weeks, based on my workload. Here's what you get:

  • One Photographer. Hey, that's me! You choose when I start and when I stop.

  • A Bunch Of Pictures! High resolution, watermark-free, photos (usually a few hundred, based on the day). Here's how you'll get them:

    • A Dropbox / WeTransfer link (to download directly)

    • A Flickr link (to quickly view)

  • Security. I shoot on a backup memory card throughout the day, and additionally backup my images before I leave for the night. That way you don't have to worry!

Logistics & Recommendations

Getting Ready

If you want me covering preparation, I'll usually split my time between both sides of the bridal party. This really depends on the distance between where the preparations are taking place. I can cover one side in an hour, and then spend any remaining time before the ceremony covering the other side.

Ceremony / Formal Family Shots

The ceremony is pretty straight-forward. What I do recommend after the ceremony, since the entire family is already in once place, is for the entire bridal party, and any other family members that you want photos with, to come right back to the altar/front so we can take formal family pictures. Then your families can relax for the rest of the night.

Fun / Informal Shots

Right after the ceremony, we'll travel to a location of your choice to get pictures of the bridal party. I'll cover everyone, one side, the other side, and then just the happy couple.

Reception / Dancing

The rest of the night is smooth sailing! I'll be with you the rest of the way. I can often be found in the middle of the dance floor, camera in hand, because that's where I can get the best shots!

Okay, I get it. Let's do this thing!

FAQs

How long have you been taking pictures?

I picked up my first DSLR camera in 2008, and have been taking photos ever since. I was a concert photographer for a while, but switched to event & wedding photography in 2016.

How would you describe your personality?

I like to have fun. I like to offer what I call attempts at humor to the bridal party to keep things lighthearted. Photography should be fun and purpose manifested through image! I also love music, Apple, and Pixar.

Do you personally take and edit the photos?

Yep! I work by myself, so I'll be the only one coming out. I'm happy to work alongside any videographers that you hire. I also do my own edits.

What do you use to edit photos?

I use Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.

Do you shoot raw or JPG?

All my photos are in the raw format. This means that the photos retain more detail, allowing me more creative freedom in edits. Basically, it allows me to deliver you higher quality pictures!

Are you just one of those point & shoot photographers that shoots in automatic modes?

Actually, many photographers shoot in some mode that allows the camera to make automatic decisions. Camera systems are very intelligent and complex, so I make the call as to what I want to override depending on the situation.

What equipment do you use?

My primary body is a Nikon D750, with a backup Canon 6D. I have a variety of lenses and flashes:

  • Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4

  • Nikon 50mm f/1.8

  • Canon 35mm f/1.4L

  • Canon 85mm f/1.8

  • Nikon SB 5000 flash

  • Canon 430 exll flash
